Cars&TechSG is honoured to be able to witness the official launch of another automotive maker entering our Singapore market, DEEPAL and it's S07 SUV.
Quick facts - DEEPAL also known as 深蓝 in Chinese, is the electric vehicle (EV) brand owned by Changan Automobile, a major Chinese automaker. It was originally named Chongqing Changan New Energy Automobile Technology, founded in 2018. It became an independent brand under Changan Automobile in 2023.
Locally, the brand will be cared for by Premium Automobiles, which has XPENG and ZEEKR under it's roof as well.
We had the opportunity to get up close with two new upcoming models, namely the S05 mid-size SUV and the E07, a more versatile SUV, a sleek, with cutting-edge autonomous features, and a futuristic design that turns every drive into a sci-fi experience with this utility vehicle. I absolutely love the rear of this SUV!

The Deepal S07 is an all electric digital platform and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 Automotive System. Sounds familiar? Snapdragon not only powers PC, mobiles, even cars too!
The SUV offers a yacht-inspired interior that redefines luxury in an SUV. With hand-stitched leather, wood accents, and a spacious, open layout, the cabin feels more like a high-end yacht than a traditional vehicle. The floating center console, customizable ambient lighting, and premium seats with memory foam provide a sophisticated and comfortable atmosphere. Other notable features include, the frameless door windows. The minimalistic dashboard, paired with a sleek 15.6" infotainment system, adds to the sense of modern elegance. Overall, the S07's interior offers an unmatched combination of luxury, comfort, and elegance—making every drive feel like a premium experience.
The S07 is capable of delivering up to 475KM of range, pumping out a good 215bhp, 320Nm to ensure you manage the roads with ease and efficiency! Century sprints happens in 7.9s with its 79.97kW lithium-ion battery.
